History of Colorado HealthStory

In the fall of 2010, the Colorado Rural Health Center, Center for Health Progress (Colorado Coalition for the Medically Underserved, at the time), and ClinicNET (no longer operating) came together to discuss how they could help communities start a conversation about health. With funding from The Colorado Trust and the Colorado Health Foundation, the Colorado HealthStory project was born.

Center for Health ProgressWith blessings from our founding partners, Center for Health Progress took over management of Colorado HealthStory in October of 2013. Center for Health Progress creates opportunities and eliminates barriers to health equity for Coloradans. We provide solution-oriented, collaborative leadership to drive change in our health care system. Across all of our work, we authentically engage Coloradans at-risk for poor health and create connections between individuals and decision makers to drive action.
